About

My career in the film industry spans an 15 years,  but my passion for visual storytelling and design began at a very early age.  I grew up as the third generation of my family to work in the film industry.  Combined with a keen eye for detail and an unwavering interest in history, bygone eras, and glamour, I infuse my work with a distinctive blend of aesthetics and narrative depth.

After attending Boston University, and some time working at the BBC in London, I returned to my roots in New York, transitioning into a more hands-on role within the art department, starting as a set dresser and eventually ascending to the esteemed position of set decorator.

What sets me apart is his ability to translate the essence of a script into visually compelling stories. As a set decorator, I revel in the process of extracting details from a script, interpreting the director's vision, incorporating character nuances from actors, and distilling this wealth of information into captivating visuals that breathe life into the narrative. I don’t consider it just decorating; but rather storytelling in the language of design, leaving an indelible mark on every project he touches.

I found creative synergy with visionary storyteller Ryan Murphy, embarking on a series of consecutive projects. An active advocate in the LGBTQ+ community being involved in Pose became a thrilling opportunity to authentically portray and celebrate the unique and beautiful stories within this vibrant community.
